On this day 15 years before - 14 February 2007:
On this day the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam presided over the holy Ritual of Firewalking in Adi Kailasa, Bidadi Adheenam. This tradition has been practised in the whole Bharat since time immemorial.The Paramavatara of Paramashiva, the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism, Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam has made part of His mission to revive Hinduism in it's most authentic form and as such to bring back and preserve the science of Enlightenment for the benefit of the whole humanity.

The Thimithi (Tamil: தீமிதிKundam) or firewalking ceremony is a Hindu festival originating in Tamil Nadu, South India. The fire-walking ceremony is in honour of the goddess Draupati Amman, who is considered the incarnation of goddess Mariamman, and is practiced not only in India, but also in Fiji, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia, Mauritius, Réunion, South Africa and other countries with large South Indian populations. During the period of the festival, scenes from Mahabharata are enacted by the devotees and drama troupes. A week before the fire walking they perform prayers to Periyachi who is one of the most important deities of Mariamman’s entourage. The grand prayer session is held to request her blessings upon the devotees and that no unpleasant incidents should happen during the festival. The second event is a symbolic grand marriage ceremony conducted between Arjuna and Draupadi. Following this is probably the most important ritual: a simulation of the sacrifice of Hijra, which was done before the Mahabharata war to ensure success to the Pandavas. The simulated ritual does not involve human sacrifice. Afterwards, devotees offer their prayers like carrying milk pots, doing Kumbiduthandam (prostrating after every step) and Angapirathatchanam (rolling around the temple grounds). Mariamman is given a milk bath with the milk that the devotees brought as it is a belief that the sins of man will be washed away. Two days before the Tīmiti festival, a silver chariot procession takes place to commemorate the 18-day battle which culminates in the Pandavas victory. At this juncture, Krishna agreed to be Arjuna's charioteer. Marking this occasion in Singapore, on the Friday and Saturday prior to Tīmiti, a chariot procession takes place around the Telok Blangah and Bukit Merah districts. The fire pit is prepared the night before the final day and kept red hot throughout the ritual. Devotees begin their ritual as early as 4 am and the event ends before 11am. Meaning :
The heap of dry grass thrown into the blazing fire gets incinerated completely and it never again attains its original state of being dry grass. In the same way, the diligent sadhaka, supreme among the human beings, who is blessed with relevant initiation, reaches the adorable and worthy realm of siva mandala effected through initiation and mantra. Thereafter, he never gets embodied again.

The first time my atma linga stood straight on my palm was not during the first initiation. It happened the next day. I gave it a command gently, and to my surprise Paramashiva responded immediately. I felt there was a living being inside listening and waiting for my command. ♥♥♥ So happy to see my atma linga now standing on it's own for such a long time. 32 minutes so far. Still standing!!! Pradosham Offering from Nithyananda Gaumandir in Kailasa In Tiruvannamalai to Periya Nandhi At Arunachaleshwara Temple

With the Grace and Blessings of The SPH JGM HDH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam, milk from Nithyananda Gaumandir was offered for abhishekam to Nandhi on Pradosham Day at Adi Annamalai Temple as well as Arunachaleshwara Temple in Tiruvannamalai. Pradosham is celebrated every fortnight on the 13th day (Tryodashi) of the waxing and waning moon. It is on Tryodashi that the Devas, celestial beings approached Paramashiva for relief from the demons Danavas and Daityas. They ran around Kailasha, Paramashiva's abode hitherto and were helped by Nandi, Shiva's sacred bull. Paramashiva destroyed the demons and graced them. Hence on this day, abhishekam (sacred bath) is performed to Paramashiva and Nandi in all Shiva temples. Worshipping Paramashiva and Nandi on this day liberates one from the demonic attirbutes that one carries within oneself and bestows enlightenment upon them. SPH JGM HDH Bhagavan Nithyananda Paramashivam is an ardent worshipper of Paramashiva and Nandi as a child, every Pradosham, at this very Arunachaleshwara temple in his own birthplace - Tiruvannamalai, which is also the world's largest Shiva temple.
