Transliteration

"dou pagäìké eòé joé goòäphaëoà väëoà phuni hoé | goòä jaìgha adhara kari räkhai äòeväha isé vidhi däkhe ॥198॥ dou eòé urdhahé müladvära täupara karai | puni aïjulé häthä däkhai tämme phuni poloöaké däkhe ॥199॥

Translation

"Sitting on toes and placing buttocks on heels. Separate the knees sidewards and place on the ground. Make a hollow of palms and place it on mouth. Keep thumbs under teeth and close the lips fix the gaze steadily at the tip of nose. Inhale through pingala nadi and exhale through mouth to the capacity."


Steps/Technique

1. Sit on the toes and place buttocks on heels.

2. Separate the knees.

3. Make a hollow with your hands and place it on the mouth.

4. Keep thumbs under the teeth and close the lips.

5. Gaze at the tip of nose.

6. Inhale through right nostril and exhale through the mouth."
