On 16 of August 2002, a humble devoted couple in Bengaluru, etched themselves in the history of KAILASA by offering the first Pada Puja to The SPH in Bengaluru, Karnataka State (where the KAILASA headquarters is located). The SPH had had numerous Pada Puja offerings prior to this, but in the State of Tamilnadu. The day coincided with the auspicious Varalakshmi Nombu festival observed by the Hindu Diaspora around the world in the worship of the Universal Cosmic Mother - Parashakti Herself.
