Outdoor evening ritual at dusk with palm trees and a green hedge behind. A young priest in a tall ornate golden-patterned crown and bare upper body wears beaded rudraksha-style necklaces and bangles. He holds a small lit oil lamp (diya) in both hands above a woven wicker basket. Beside him a large copper fire bowl on a tripod stand burns with a tall flame, wrapped with marigold garlands and a red flower band. A crowd of onlookers stands in the background.2014-12-05December 20 20062006-12-20December 31 20182018-12-31A photograph of a decorated deity murti or ceremonial figure in a dimly lit hall, adorned with a tall crystal-studded gold crown, layered jeweled necklaces, and a red and white flower garland over dark hair. The figure holds wooden sticks or rods and a small golden implement. A silhouetted onlooker stands at the right edge. Crowd and setting are dim.2007-10-14Backlit silhouette photograph at sunset of a figure in profile wearing an orange-saffron turban and a long saffron-orange wrap draped over the shoulders and body, with wavy hair visible at the neck. Behind are bare trees, a tall metal lamp post, a water tank on a metal stand, and two men in light shirts standing at the right edge near stacked stone blocks. The figure has distinctive saffron turban and wrap cues and matches the page's a person reference, but the silhouette is too dark to confirm, so the identity is uncertain. Sunlight glows behind the scene.2006-12-20December 18 20172017-12-18A dim, grainy night photograph of a seated figure in a dark robe beside a fire pit. Bright orange flames glow along the lower edge, and a cluster of warm lamp lights shines on the left behind the figure. The figure's face and head are shadowed and hard to make out, and the background is almost entirely black.2006-08-17August 17 20062006-08-17June 17 20172017-06-17August 17 20062006-08-17November 20 20102010-11-20August 26 20172017-08-26
