A group of about a dozen people stands in a line, many in saffron-orange robes with red borders, several wearing gold-toned pendant necklaces and sacred ash markings on their foreheads. A bare-chested man in white dhoti stands with palms pressed together in front, his body marked with white ash stripes. A woman in a green and purple saree stands at left with her hands folded. Several men in white shirts and a uniformed police officer stand in the background. A yellow stone or metal block sits at the right edge beside a pillar. The group appears to be offering prayers while visiting the temple.2009-01-14December 29 20102010-12-29Photograph inside a stone-pillared temple hall with a gilded shrine visible in the background. Several people stand on a dark stone floor. In the centre, a man in an orange dhoti and orange shawl and a woman in an orange sari with cream border hold items toward a figure in an orange robe with long dark hair, who faces them. A man in white shirt and dhoti stands behind them. A man on the left in an orange robe, a bare-chested man with a towel over his shoulder, and women in red, green and pink saris are among the bystanders, with more onlookers in white near the pillars.2009-01-29July 13 20092009-07-13August 08 20092009-08-08
