November 23 20062006-11-23A photograph taken inside a thatched-roof shed with cinder-block walls and bamboo rafters. A figure in a long orange-saffron garment with a shawl draped over the shoulders stands at left, head partly turned, with long hair visible. Beside him, a man in white ritual clothes with a dark sash across the chest stands near stacked bundles and cloth. On the left, a low bed or platform is covered with red and dark blankets and folded white cloth. Coiled cables and boxes sit along the right wall. The lighting is dim, with daylight entering through gaps in the roof. The appearance of the figure in orange is consistent with a presentation of the person the page names, but the features are not clearly distinct enough to confirm identity.2006-11-23A photograph inside an open, thatched-roof structure with a concrete floor and cinder-block walls. A man with long dark hair, wearing a saffron-orange draped robe and holding a walking staff, stands barefoot on the right, looking to his left. Swamiji (probable) appears as the central figure, identified by long swept-back hair and saffron robe with a walking staff. To the left, a man in white kurta and a figure in white stand near a small clay pot and a pink cushion. Behind them, a man in a checked shirt and white dhoti stands with hands folded. Clothes hang on lines against the back wall, and a wooden stool sits at the right edge.2006-09-21A photograph inside a white-walled hall with a dark wooden coffered ceiling and a hanging glass lantern. A man with long, swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and a long rudraksha mala wears a flowing saffron-orange robe and smiles while walking forward. A dark wooden bench stands at left, and iron fanlight grilles decorate the walls. Behind him, a woman in white with an orange shawl walks toward a doorway, and a woman in red stands at the left edge. Swamiji (probable): the man has long hair, saffron robes and a rudraksha mala.2006-11-09November 23 20062006-11-23A thatched palm-roofed hall with woven bamboo walls and a fluorescent tube light. A smiling figure with long dark swept-back hair, wearing an orange-saffron shawl over orange clothing, sits on a red throne-like seat with red cushions and a red rosette on the armrest. Seated devotees in orange shawls and white clothes face the throne; one man in white sits near the lower left and a younger man in orange sits beside him. A water bottle sits on the platform. On the right, a framed portrait shows a man in a yellow turban. Several visible heads of women and children are in the foreground. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure wears long swept-back hair and saffron-orange robes on a throne, consistent with a sannyasi giving satsang.2006-10-03August 01 20082008-08-01November 23 20062006-11-23A photograph inside a thatched-roof hut with a palm-frond ceiling and cement block walls. A central figure in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala around the neck and a red tilak on the forehead, smiles while another man in white dhoti and white shawl stands at right holding a small object. At left, a man in white clothes with an orange shawl faces toward the centre and extends his hand. Bedding, folded cloth, bags and boxes lie on a wooden cot and the floor.2006-11-23November 23 20062006-11-23Photograph of an interior hall with a thatched roof, bamboo lattice walls and a fluorescent tube light, decorated with hanging orange and red cloth bundles and colourful flower garlands. A seated person in orange robes speaks into a microphone on a raised white-draped seat, while a black-and-white framed photo of a seated figure in meditation hangs on the wall and a large poster is visible at right. Several people in white clothes sit on mats at the right edge, and a green curtain hangs at left.2005-08-03A photograph of a man in a sleeveless orange saffron garment with a long gold-bead necklace, walking through a doorway in a plain room. He has long dark hair swept back and is smiling toward a woman in a brown sari with a long braid and glasses, who stands beside him. Other people are partly visible behind them. A small framed poster of a colourful deity is on the wall, and a white-clad arm appears at the left edge.
