A nighttime street photograph of a devotee gathering beside a roadside banner. A green banner with a white border shows a portrait of a bearded man in a white turban, looking upward; the portrait is printed, not a physical person. Beneath it a sign reads in Tamil that the Ananda Spurana Ratha Yatra is organised by the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam. Several people in white clothing stand in a line along the roadside: a woman in a white saree with a red-bordered blouse, a man in a white kurta with a rudraksha-style mala, a woman in a white dress holding a small object, and a man in a white shirt with a forehead mark in the foreground. Behind them stand people in orange, red and blue clothes, with banana plants, palm trees and a parked scooter at the right edge.2006-11-04October 29 20062006-10-29November 04 20062006-11-04September 20 20062006-09-202008 - Kailasa India Sangha ActivitiesNovember 21 20052005-11-21A printed Tamil poster pasted on a weathered, stained plaster wall, announcing an Ananda Rathotsavam (joyful chariot festival) and a Tamil Nadu Ratha Yatra invitation. Two framed portrait photographs appear on the poster: on the left, a young smiling man with long hair in white robes, rudraksha mala beads and a white head cloth; on the right, a smiling man in a yellow-and-white turban with a red bindi and dark clothing. The portraits are printed images, not people physically present. A purple bird logo sits at the top centre, and a partial colourful printed image is visible at the left edge. Printed text names a person as the honoured figure and Dhyana Peetham as the organiser, with Tiruchi, Srirangam and BHEL dhyana peetams listed.2006-10-20A pink outdoor banner hangs between two bamboo poles in a garden of palm fronds and green shrubs. It shows a large portrait of a man in a white head wrap and rudraksha beads, looking upward, beside a dove logo. Below the portrait, Tamil text reads welcome with joy and the name of the place. People in white dhotis stand near the banner, and a woman in a green sari stands in front of it. Others sit on a stone platform in the background, with brass pots and bundled cloth visible.2006-11-13June 03 20122012-06-03October 20 20062006-10-20March 03 20072007-03-03November 25 20062006-11-25
