July 22 20132013-07-22A photograph of a sadhu with long matted dreadlocks bowing headfirst into shallow river water during a ritual bath. Around him, numerous saffron and orange-robed sadhus and devotees stand waist-deep, many wearing rudraksha and beaded necklaces and red-orange bangles. A man in a white dhoti and white shawl with a large beaded necklace stands at left near a red ceremonial staff topped with a pennant. Behind them stand pink temple walls, a green-topped structure, and blue sky. He faces left with his hand extended. Beside him a man in white-and-gold ritual cloth has a red and white tilak on his forehead and holds a hand out. Other devotees stand behind with dark hair, red tilak marks and gold beaded necklaces. The Swamiji (probable) cues are the dreadlocks, flower crown, shawl and garland, placed as the central figure receiving honour during the temple visit. Pale yellow walls frame the outdoor setting.2018-05-08A bearded man with long braided dark hair and a white-and-red forehead marking stands waist-deep in water, cupping his hands to pour water from a river. He wears a rust-red wrap and multiple strands of rudraksha malas across his chest and upper arms. Behind him, other men in saffron-orange cloths, one with white body markings, stand in the water. The water splashes from his cupped hands in a bright outdoor setting.2018-04-28October 17 20102010-10-17A person with long dreadlocked black hair, wearing a rust-orange draped garment and a long white and red flower garland with a rudraksha mala, bends forward and presses their head and hands against a dark stone altar or lingam pedestal in a temple. Brass lamps and flowers are visible in the background, and a carved stone lion-faced figure stands behind. The person appears to be performing devotional worship at a shrine. Identity is unsure from appearance alone.2017-01-01April 14 20182018-04-14December 23 20162016-12-23April 28 20182018-04-28 +1 copiesJanuary 01 20172017-01-01October 08 20162016-10-08
