Before them on a stainless steel tray are a heap of white grains, a bowl of mixed dark seeds and flower petals, a bowl of bright yellow turmeric powder, and a glass dish. A stack of red cloth sits at the left edge. The scene suggests a ritual offering preparation. No face is visible.2018-04-15Close view of a padapuja-style offering at a gilded golden throne base, with red trim and red-maroon silk drapery of a seated figure above. A woman in a white sari with red border, wearing a name badge lanyard and gold bangles, pours water over the hands of the seated figure from a silver bowl while another woman in a red and gold embroidered blouse holds a small silver vessel. Red roses, white flower petals and silver bowls sit on the golden ledge. Only the hands, lap and lower body of the seated figure are visible; no face is shown, so identity cannot be determined from the image. Ritual setting with flowers and silver vessels.2011-10-22Close photo of a hand pouring white powder over a silver-engraved box holding stones and shells, part of a ritual offering. The hand wears a red-orange thread bracelet on the wrist. Behind it, blurred, a man in a red garment with a rudraksha-style necklace stands; only his lower face and chest are visible. Twisted silver pillars frame the left side under pinkish-red lighting.2018-02-13November 09 20162016-11-09 +1 copiesJuly 30 20172017-07-30 +1 copiesClose photograph of a ritual in progress: a hand dusted with white powder reaches into a large silver-toned ornate box filled with the same white powder, possibly sacred ash or flour. Beside it, a person in an orange-red garment and a wrist with a red sacred thread are visible, with a fruit and flower offering partly seen at left next to a silver deity figure decorated with a leopard-print cloth. The scene suggests a puja or abhishekam-style offering, with warm pinkish-violet lighting. Only hands, arms and a partial torso are visible, so the number of people is limited.2018-02-13March 03 20182018-03-03September 28 20162016-09-28October 15 20112011-10-15
