A photograph of a figure in a saffron-orange robe and matching orange head wrap with long dark hair descending the steps of a white marble staircase with dark wrought-iron railings. The figure wears a rudraksha mala and carries a dark bag, smiling toward the camera. Behind and beside on the steps are several men in white shirts and white dhotis, one with a white beard wearing a lanyard badge, another holding a dark bag. A few more people stand near a gate and in a courtyard with planted shrubs and a white wall; a woman in a blue sari stands at the right edge.February 11 20082008-02-11July 29 20082008-07-29A photograph of a group on the steps of a building with a glass-panelled entrance. A central figure with long dark hair wears an orange robe and a long pink-and-white flower garland, and has palms pressed together in greeting. Beside him a bearded man in orange robes and a shawl stands on the steps, and another man in an orange robe and orange shawl stands to the right. Men in white kurtas and white dhotis, some wearing lanyards, surround them, along with a man in a red shirt at left and a woman in a red sari at right. Potted plants and a tiled walkway are visible. The central figure has distinctive long swept-back hair, saffron robes and a flower garland, which matches the probable appearance cues associated with a person in a greeting role, though appearance alone is not conclusive.2009-02-15Photograph of a crowd walking along a covered colonnade with pale pink pillars and grey granite bases beside a metal railing. In the centre, a man with a long dark beard wears an orange-saffron head wrap and a saffron robe with a rudraksha mala. Beside him, a bald man in an orange hooded robe with a dark rudraksha necklace walks with a slight smile. Behind them, a man in a white shirt and dark trousers with a sling bag, several men in white and saffron, and a person in glasses stand among onlookers. A man in the lower left wears a striped shirt, and flowers are visible at the right edge. The two saffron-clad men in the centre are visible; the identity of the central figure is uncertain from appearance alone.2006-10-15July 29 20082008-07-29A photograph of a staircase inside a building with cream walls, wooden handrail and black balusters. An older bearded man in a long orange shawl draped over his head and body walks down the stairs, supported at the arm by a younger man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala. Behind them, another saffron-robed man with an orange headwrap follows, and a further person stands at the top. In front, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti carries a black bag and holds a phone. The orange-clad figure at centre is a person, identified by the long swept-back hair absent here, but the flowing saffron shawl and ceremonial presentation are consistent; he is walking with attendants. Faint Kannada signage appears at the lower right.2008-02-11A photograph taken at a doorway of a plain concrete hall with a palm-filled outdoor view behind. Centre frame, a man in a saffron-orange wrap walks forward smiling, barefoot, with short dark hair and a tilak on his forehead. Behind him, a woman in white with a saffron shawl holds a brass tray with a kalasha and green leaves, and a man in white with a saffron shawl presses his palms together. To the left, another man in an orange wrap stands near the entrance. On the right, a man in white with a white shirt and mala stands with palms joined, and a man in white glasses also folds his hands. Several people in white garments are visible, with a sound system at the threshold. The scene suggests a welcoming reception at the entrance of a building.2008-08-07A photograph of saffron-robed sadhus descending a white marble staircase beside a white balustrade, with a crowd of onlookers watching from a railing above. On the left, a long-haired man in an orange sleeveless top and saffron wrap smiles and gestures downward. Beside him, an older bearded man in an orange robe with a green-bordered shawl walks down. Further down, a white-haired, white-bearded elder with a bare upper body and white dhoti is supported on the stairs. On the right, a man in a white shirt and an orange-robed attendant with long hair stand close by. Several men in white shirts and red-clad devotees line the upper railing.2010-02-02February 02 20072007-02-02January 21 20102010-01-21July 30 20082008-07-30
