A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron cloth and red undershirt pressing his right hand on the head of a young boy in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala and an event lanyard. The man is smiling with eyes closed while blessing him. Behind them a small brick fire pit holds a lit brass oil lamp and scattered purple flowers, and a white-and-orange decorated bull statue stands beside a wooden table. A man in white clothes with an orange shawl and a cameraman with a video camera stand in the background, and a few other onlookers are at the edges. The scene suggests a blessing during a youth ritual at an ashram event.2007-12-25December 25 20072007-12-25December 25 20072007-12-25Indoor ritual scene with a seated figure in orange saffron robes and a rudraksha mala, long dark hair falling loose, eyes lowered, tying or adjusting a thread on the wrist of a boy in a white shirt who leans in to receive it. Brass kalasha pots and an oil lamp sit at left, marigold garlands hang on a deity murti at top left, and a white horse-shaped carriage with an orange and maroon draped cloth stands on a platform at right. A man in white with an orange shawl stands behind, and several seated devotees are visible in the background. Scattered flowers and grass stalks lie on the stone ledge.2007-12-25December 25 20072007-12-25December 25 20072007-12-25September 17 20112011-09-17December 25 20072007-12-25September 10 20112011-09-10May 24 20132013-05-24A photograph of a seated figure in an orange-brown shawl and a multi-coloured bead garland, extending a hand to rest on the head of a young boy in a striped navy and white polo shirt. Behind them, a man in a white dhoti with a red-gold border and a forehead tilak stands watching, and a woman in an orange sari with a red bindi and beaded necklace observes with a smile. Another person in a white dhoti and gold-bordered cloth sits beside the figure, and a bald man in orange in the lower right has a white paste mark on his head. Several more people in white and teal clothing stand in the background before red drapes. This appears to be a blessing or head-touching moment during a gathering, with the seated figure presenting the blessing, lightly indicated by the hand gesture.2013-05-12A photograph of an indoor ritual on a green floor scattered with flower petals and marigold garlands. A bare-chested, long-haired figure in orange cloth sits on the left, placing a hand on the head of a seated, bearded man in white kurta and orange shawl who holds the first figure's hand. A younger man in white kurta and orange shawl stands at right, smiling and leaning in. Behind them, an orange-robed seated man and a standing figure in white are visible, with a tripod and camera equipment near the back.2006-06-04
