Photo 99169152021-03-17Graphic-style archive card with an orange background and a framed photograph of two men at an indoor gathering. On the left, an older bearded man in white robes sits with palms pressed together in namaskar, beside a silver-toned murti or statue with a white and orange garland. On the right, a smiling young man wears an orange turban, orange robe and a rudraksha mala, holding pink flower garlands in folded hands. Behind them, other men in white dhotis and shirts stand and sit. A caption on the card reads that the Swamiji is in the presence of his guru, Thiruchi Swamigal, age 24, 2002. The young man in orange is a probable Swamiji candidate from distinctive orange turban, saffron robe and rudraksha mala, though this is an appearance-based label only.2021-03-17KAILASA FAMILIA PORTUGUESA, PORTUGAL on 3/17/20212021-03-17 +2 copiesA smiling figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban, wearing a multi-strand rudraksha-style mala and a garland of yellow marigolds and red and white flowers, places both hands on the head of an older man with grey hair who bows forward in a white shirt. Behind them is a large orange-toned banner showing a man in saffron robes, and a man in white shirt takes a photo on a camera at right. The setting is an indoor room with light vertical blinds and striped seating. The figure's ash-marked forehead and swept-back hair match distinctive presentation cues, so this is an appearance-based probable identification of a person being honoured in person by a devotee.2004-07-26 +1 copiesPhoto 11741249A photograph of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange turban, wearing a garland of yellow, red and white flowers, smiling as hands rest on his head. A kneeling man in a white shirt bows forward with his head lowered toward the seated figure's lap, while another hand supports him. Behind them, a red-and-white striped sofa, a banner with partial lettering, and two standing people in white clothes are visible in a hall with folding chairs. The seated figure's appearance matches the page's Swamiji claim through orange robe and turban cues with a garland, so the identification is probable. A printed banner reads 'Paramahamsa Nithyananda Swamigal' in partial lettering.2004-07-26 +1 copiesA saffron-robed figure with an orange turban, marigold-and-rose garland and rudraksha-style beads stands in front of a large banner showing a smiling man in orange and the partly visible printed words "Paramahamsa" and "...ananda S...". The robed figure places a hand on the forehead of a bald, grey-haired man in a white shirt who bows his head forward in a blessing-style gesture. Behind them, a man in a white shirt holds up a camera, and white-curtained windows and striped cushions fill the room. A white-painted ritual mark is visible on the robed figure's upper arm. Swamiji (probable): the saffron turban, robes and garland are the qualifying cues for the robed figure, shown in a blessing gesture.2004-07-26 +1 copies2002 - The SPH enriches the Mudaliar Sangam community in BengaluruMay 06 20122012-05-06 +1 copies2003-SPH-ATTENDING-TIRUCHI-SWAMIGAL-JAYANTHI-BANGALORE +1 copiesA photograph of a darshan moment outdoors.
