Photograph of a padapuja ritual in an open-air courtyard with orange-painted walls and a corrugated roof. A man in a saffron-orange robe with long swept-back hair stands at the right beside a gold-and-red throne, hands pressed together in anjali. Seated before him on mats, several men in white dhotis and bare chests, some with rudraksha or gold necklaces and white forehead markings, face him with hands folded. A woman in a white sari with a yellow border sits at the left near a brass plate. Brass and silver trays of fruit, flowers and offerings rest on a cloth in front of the seated priests, and a small wooden cabinet with red and gold items sits at the right. Visible people total about ten to twelve.

Outdoor temple grounds with sandy ground and palm trees. Five men stand in a row with hands folded in namaskar. Four are shaved-headed priests in white dhotis with red borders, wearing gold-coloured necklaces; one holds an open book. The man at right, in an orange-saffron robe with a bare head and folded hands, stands apart in front of the others. Behind them are dark stone deity statues, a black stone Nandi with a garland of orange and yellow marigolds, white stepped platforms, and a copper-topped kalasha wrapped in garlands. The setting suggests a pada-puja ceremony.

Men in white kurtas and white dhotis stand around the group, a younger boy in a white striped shirt and white dhoti stands at right, and a woman in white with long dark hair stands at left. Strings of orange and red bunting hang between the trees, and a red-and-white canopy shelters chairs and a column in the background where more people in white stand.

A photograph of an outdoor ritual courtyard under a corrugated metal roof. In the foreground, a figure seen from behind wears an orange-saffron garment, a long red and white flower garland, and gold armbands, facing toward the stage. Nearby, people in white dhotis and an orange-clad attendant stand near a camera operator in white kneeling at lower right, filming. Ahead, a raised platform holds a golden deity murti under a decorated canopy, with a small shrine and offerings. Dark-clothed and saffron-clad devotees stand at the sides, and a golden palanquin or throne with orange cushions and floral garlands is at right. Palm trees and greenery surround the open-air hall.
