A bald elderly man with a white forehead marking, a dark rudraksha mala, gold armlets and a gold-trimmed red-orange dhoti and shawl stands at left, bare-chested, gesturing toward the shrine. At right, a younger man in white dhoti and white shawl, with a beaded bracelet, holds a brass plate and lamp toward a dark stone deity murti dressed in white cloth, flower garlands and a pink flower. Two lit oil lamps stand on the altar, and a yellow cloth backs the niche. A partial figure in white is visible at far left edge.2012-05-11May 07 20122012-05-07April 08 20052005-04-08July 13 20152015-07-13Inside a large workshop with a corrugated roof and red steel trusses, two saffron-robed men stand at a display of brass and gold ritual items. The taller man on the right wears an orange turban, rudraksha mala and orange dhoti, and gestures toward the objects with one hand. Beside him an older white-bearded man in an orange shawl stands barefoot, hand raised to his chin. Behind them, workers in white shirts and dhotis move among ornate gold arches, brass lamp stands, tiered brass platforms and a golden swan-shaped throne. On a striped mat in the foreground lie small brass and wooden deity murti, lamps, bowls and conch shells.2015-04-28A seated man in an orange-brown robe with a saffron-yellow shawl, a rudraksha mala draped over his shoulders, a white vibhuti mark on his forehead and hair tied in a bun, sits between two golden lion-head thrones. He extends one hand toward a devotee in a white short-sleeved shirt and white trousers who kneels before him with both palms raised to his forehead in reverence. A red-and-purple draped backdrop and a deity murti garlanded with red flowers stand behind them, with golden pillars on either side. Other people stand at the right edge of the frame. The posture suggests darshan or blessing; the seated figure is a probable match for a person by appearance, marked by the rudraksha mala, saffron-ochre robe and ceremonial seating.2013-09-28May 07 20172017-05-07
