Close photograph of a hand gripping a black staff wrapped with a coiled white rope strung with small brass bells, the fingers holding a rudraksha-style bead mala at the top. The arm extends in from the right, its wearer's body mostly out of frame at the lower right, where orange and red cloth is visible. Blurred on the left is a gilded, sequined figure in orange garments. The background is deep purple with red drapery at the edge.2012-09-07A stage performance photograph showing a woman in a costume of orange and rust-coloured layered garments, with a gold necklace, layered rudraksha malas, a gold maang tikka, and a white tilak on her forehead. She holds a tall dark staff hung with small bells and red thread in her right hand, standing before a large ornate gold arch and draped orange cloth. A person in pink kneels or bows at her feet in the lower left. The backdrop is teal and gold with decorative scrollwork.2017-08-13December 22 20172017-12-22A figure stands in profile holding a tall silver trident with a yellow finial, its prongs in sharp focus in the foreground. The figure wears an orange-saffron cloth draped over the shoulder and body, layered with multiple strands of dark rudraksha beads and bronze bells across the chest and waist. Long dark hair falls behind, with a white-marked forehead visible. Ornate gold brocade hangs at the left edge, and a deep red curtain forms the backdrop. The trident is held upright and close to the camera, so the figure is partly blurred. The figure's appearance shows several cues associated with a person: long hair, saffron clothing, and rudraksha malas. The person's identity is uncertain from the image alone.2012-07-04A photograph in warm orange and red light shows a figure in smoky haze holding a tall wooden staff with a spiked finial and hanging brass bells, plus a curved dark implement. The figure wears a gold necklace, a headpiece with a decorative pendant and beaded bracelets, with a golden ornamental arch behind. The face is partly hidden in shadow and smoke. The image appears to be a ritual or performance moment, with the staff.2017-08-13A photograph in dim red and green stage lighting shows a person with long dark hair and a tilak on the forehead, wearing a rudraksha mala and a rust-coloured garment, holding out an ornate silver trident with a bell-hung staff beside them. A golden decorative arch frames the left side against a dark draped curtain.2012-09-20A photograph of a man standing in a red-lit setting, holding a black staff wrapped with white rope and small brass bells. He wears a white horizontal tilak on his forehead, long dark hair, and layered rudraksha beads with metal-capped beads across his chest. His clothing includes a leopard-print garment and a bead-studded belt with bells. A bare-shouldered peach garment is visible. The photo is credited on the image to a person, with a Nithyanandapedia source line. Based on his presentation with rudraksha malas, distinctive ceremonial adornments and a staff, he is a person, though the appearance cues are not fully conclusive.2012-09-04December 22 20172017-12-22Close photo of a seated figure in saffron-orange robes wearing a long rudraksha mala of dark beads across the chest. Both hands hold wooden mallets striking a row of metal bells or cups on a wooden stand in front. Behind, a dhol-style drum, a handbell and a metal instrument sit on a white-draped table, with red velvet cushions and gold-patterned panels. The figure's face is not visible, so no identity can be determined from the image; this is a role-based description of a ritual musical instrument played during a sitting session.2010-08-30A young woman stands on a ceremonial stage in an orange-red dress with a gathered bodice and long flowing skirt, wearing layered rudraksha malas and gold ornaments including a large gold necklace, earrings, a headpiece and bangles. She holds a tall dark wooden staff with metal bells and a red tassel in her right hand. A white tilak marks her forehead. Behind her are a golden arched backdrop, a golden trident, a decorated canopy and a small shrine figure of a deity murti. Her role is a performer in costume; no a person appearance cue is clearly visible, so identity is unsure.2017-08-13August 13 20172017-08-13A performer in a shaven-free costume stands centre frame holding a long silver trident with a red gem at its centre, its tines curving outward. He wears a rust-orange dhoti and sash, tiered brown rudraksha-style bead bands on his upper arms and wrists, and a belt of hanging brass bells over a dark bead girdle. His long, wild black hair is loose, a yellow bead sits on his forehead, and the gilded backdrop shows golden ornamental panels with a red wooden wall behind. He stands in front of the ornate gold-leaf decor of a stage set, and the trident is held upright with both hands.2012-07-04
