On the left, a smaller female murti in a green and gold sari with a large silver-toned necklace and a green parrot figure at her shoulder stands beneath a copper arch hung with yellow and red marigold and rose garlands; white flowers and rose arrangements sit before her in copper pots. On the right, a dark-faced standing deity wearing a gold crown, pearl-like necklaces and red garlands holds a gold staff in his raised hand, framed by an ornate gold arch with a carved bull relief. Red and orange drapery hangs behind, and a brass oil lamp and a brass bird-shaped lamp stand at right. No people are visible.2022-09-28 +1 copiesPhoto 82855842022-09-28 +1 copiesFestive display of deity murtis in a gilded arched shrine framed by deep red drapes and a blue-and-maroon canopy. A dark-faced central standing murti wears a tall crown, white and silver necklaces, and garlands of red, pink and white flowers, holding a raised staff-like object. Two seated gold-toned murtis in green and red garments with flower garlands sit before it, one holding a small ritual item. Pink hibiscus, yellow and orange marigolds and blossoms are arranged on the altar in front. A sliver of a human hand appears at the lower left edge. No physical people are the main subject; the scene is a worship arrangement at a temple during Navaratri.2020-10-20A photograph of a temple shrine with a tall black stone deity murti of a goddess, wearing a golden crown, silver jewellery and a garland of red roses and yellow marigolds, standing in a gilded arched frame with carved lions. Below her, a smaller silver-and-green-clad deity murti stands on a gold throne with a green parrot figure and a white garland. Copper kalasha pots holding white and red roses flank the base. In the lower left, a bare-chested priest with a shaved head and sacred thread stands in the foreground, pouring or offering near the altar during a puja. Red and maroon drapes and an orange cloth line the shrine.2022-09-28 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 2/6/20222022-02-06KAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 5/2/20202020-05-02KAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 9/28/20222022-09-28 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN JOSE, USA on 11/14/20202020-11-14
