KAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 3/14/20222022-03-14A photograph of a home altar table draped in a yellow and beige floral cloth, decorated with yellow trumpet flowers, white jasmine-like blossoms and blue and yellow silk flowers. At the centre, several small bronze deity murtis are garlanded with red, green and yellow beaded garlands, arranged on a multicolour tray. Smaller painted figurines and a wooden box with round inlaid pieces sit around them. A small oil lamp burns at right, and a shallow bowl of rice and sweets sits behind. Framed pictures stand at the back: at left, a painted figure in orange robes, a rudraksha mala and a turban, seated with raised hand and an ornate gold necklace, labelled as a depiction of a teacher, in the frame of a devotional picture; at right, a painting of a standing deity with a crown and blue skin. No people are visible.2022-03-21 +1 copiesPhoto 99211502022-05-29 +1 copiesPhoto 99204222022-03-22 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 4/8/20222022-04-08 +1 copiesA home shrine altar covered with a floral batik-patterned cloth, decorated with white jasmine and yellow and blue flowers. In the upper left, a framed image shows a bearded figure in an orange-red turban and saffron robe with gold necklaces, raising two fingers in blessing, labelled as a portrait of a Swamiji (probable) seated in a meditative pose; this is a depiction on a print, not a physical person. Behind it, a framed image of a deity in an arched temple gateway with a crown and bright blue skin, and a tray of brass murti figures garlanded with red and green flowers. A lit tealight sits in a brass lamp at left, and a copper bowl of flowers, glasses of water, a bowl of rice and fruit, and a small box of decorated trinkets are arranged on the altar. No people are physically present.2022-03-26 +1 copiesA home altar draped with a yellow batik-patterned cloth, covered in white plumeria flowers, red and orange garlands, and small brass and metal deity figurines. A framed picture on the left shows a smiling man in saffron robes and turban seated with a hand raised, in front of a tiger-patterned backdrop; he is a depiction, appearance-based candidate (probable) with turban, saffron clothing and rudraksha-style beads, shown in a printed portrait. Beside it, a framed image of a blue-skinned four-armed deity with a crown stands, a bowl of flowers sits in front, and a lit brass oil lamp glows at lower left. No people are physically present.2022-05-11 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 3/31/20222022-03-31 +1 copiesPhoto 82856392022-03-17 +1 copiesPhoto 99208562022-04-12 +1 copiesPhoto 82908992022-04-30 +1 copiesPhoto 99184932022-09-10 +1 copies
