The murti wears a silver crown, a silver-and-red jewelled chest ornament and a red-and-gold silk garment. Yellow beads hang across the figure. In the foreground a red silk cloth holds a heap of yellow turmeric-coloured offerings, a whole lemon-like fruit and a small red kumkum bowl. A framed photograph appears at the right edge. No people are visible. +1 copiesSeptember 17 20142014-09-17A dark stone deity murti stands in front of a large black circular halo-like backdrop decorated with bamboo rays festooned with dried and fresh flowers. The figure is heavily garlanded with red rose garlands, yellow marigold strands, white jasmine and green lemon-like fruit beads, with a silver-and-jewelled necklace and a mustard-yellow cloth at the waist. A potted palm and red and yellow petals sit at the base beside the pedestal. No living people are visible, so the scene is a decorated murti rather than a gathering.2016-12-11 +1 copies
