December 20 20122012-12-20A seated man with long dark hair swept back, a crown-like ornament, a tiger-striped gold and black garment and a dark rudraksha mala reaches to touch the forehead of an older man with short grey hair in a white shirt and a lanyard. The older devotee holds his palms up toward the seated figure, eyes lowered. A gold lion-shaped object and a gold-coloured pillar stand nearby in a hall with cream walls and dark speakers behind. The seated man matches the appearance cues of a person, shown giving blessing to a devotee in a darshan setting.2013-12-15A seated man with long dark wavy hair and a rudraksha mala, wearing an orange saffron cloth draped over his shoulders, reaches up to apply a mark to the forehead of a younger man in a white shirt and orange shawl. Swamiji (probable) appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads. Beside them stands a golden cobra-hooded deity murti adorned with red, yellow and green flower garlands and gold jewellery, with a gold oil lamp and a silver tray in the foreground. A bald man in white dhoti and shawl stands behind, partly visible through a window, and a man in white with a rudraksha mala stands at right. Red velvet drapes and a red cushion frame the scene.2012-04-29March 21 20142014-03-21December 20 20122012-12-20December 20 20122012-12-20May 05 20142014-05-05A seated man with long swept-back dark hair, white vibhuti stripes on his forehead, an orange-and-gold garment and a rudraksha mala extends his right hand to touch the forehead of an older bald man in a white shirt who sits with palms pressed together. Swamiji (probable) is the man with long hair, rudraksha mala and orange garment, shown in the act of blessing. Behind them stand devotees in saffron and teal clothing, a golden ceremonial lion-head seat rests beside him, and red and purple drapes and a gold pillar frame the ritual space. The image is a photograph of a blessing moment during a gathering.2013-09-28A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a long purple orchid garland sits on an ornate silver-and-cushioned throne draped with a leopard-print cloth. Before him, a bald man in white clothes with an orange shawl kneels on a white fluffy rug, hands pressed together and holding a small offering, in what appears to be a padapuja. Behind them, several people in white and orange-red garments stand and sit in a room with a golden-yellow screen, a potted plant and a wooden floor. A small pink-and-orange figurine lies on the floor at the throne's base.2012-12-18A seated man with long dark hair wears a tiger-striped saffron wrap, a beaded rudraksha-style mala and a sash, sitting on a silver-ornamented throne with gold lion-shaped armrests. He touches the forehead of a kneeling man in a white shirt with an orange sash, who presses his palms together in greeting. Behind them, several people in white and red-orange clothing stand near a potted plant and a tasselled canopy. The seated man has distinctive long hair, saffron-toned ornate clothing and a ceremonial necklace, so he is a probable Swamiji candidate, shown in person.2012-12-20A photograph of a ceremony indoors. A young man in a white shirt with a small orange-and-white badge stands behind a seated man and raises his right hand above the seated man's head, pressing his palm to the forehead. The seated man wears a tiger-striped yellow and black shawl, a long rudraksha mala with ceremonial gold ornaments, and horizontal white tilak with a red dot on his forehead; he looks down at a small folded paper in his hands. A silver trident stands in the right foreground beside a gold-coloured ornate throne back. Soft neutral wall panels form the background.2013-12-18May 01 20142014-05-01
