A large banyan tree with many aerial roots and thick buttressed trunks dominates the frame. A man stands at its right side, barefoot, wearing a lavender-purple draped garment over one shoulder, with his hands together near his chest in a reverent posture. A string of yellow and maroon flowers hangs from the trunk beside a low stone ledge. A blue sign at lower left reads DO NOT ENTER THE CAVE.
