December 17 20112011-12-17A photograph inside a temple shrine hall with a richly decorated deity murti behind a stone platform, draped with garlands in yellow, red and white. A smiling man in a violet dhoti and deep red border walks forward down the centre, wearing a rudraksha mala, a gold pendant and gold armlets. Behind him at left, a shaved-headed attendant in orange robes carries a long staff. Two white-clad people stand at the right side beside metal railings, one with hands folded in namaste, and a striped umbrella and green fan-leaf canopies frame the scene. The man's appearance is not sufficient to establish identity, so he is described by role only.2011-12-14December 17 20112011-12-17December 02 20112011-12-02Temple scene with a decorated palanquin-like shrine draped in red and maroon cloth, garlanded with pink and red flowers, holding a golden figure. An elderly bare-chested priest in white dhoti with a striped shawl stands at left, extending his hands toward the shrine. Beside the shrine, a man in orange-saffron robes with a gold-bordered wrap and gold garland raises his joined hands overhead in worship. Another man in saffron robes with a gold garland stands with folded hands. At far right, a figure in orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a bearded man with long hair in orange clothing stand near the shrine, with more devotees in the background and a stone pillar at left.2012-06-05Night photo at a stone shrine with carved pillars and a blue-purple draped backdrop. Two deity murtis stand on a raised platform, one with a green-and-red crown and necklaces, the other in a red sari with garlands, with a white-draped object in front and a kalasha and lamps on the altar. Three people are visible: a bald man in orange robes with a white forehead mark and rudraksha-style beads presses his palms together before the altar; a man in white clothes stands beside him with hands folded; a third person in white at the left edge holds a brass tray of flowers and fruit. Fresh garlands drape the altar.2007-10-17December 31 20092009-12-31November 09 20112011-11-09October 01 20172017-10-01A photograph of a shrine area decorated with marigold and multicoloured flower garlands. A large seated deity murti in blue robes, with a crown and gold ornaments, sits on a purple cloth-draped platform, its hand raised. In front, a standing person in a blue draped garment with a long gold-beaded garland stands beside a smaller blue-clad figure on a kalasha-like base. On the left, a man in white dhoti plays a hand drum and another in an orange-gold cloth holds an instrument, with a photographer in white and orange nearby. The scene is a temple-style ritual setting with a red-walled courtyard and water tank behind.2010-12-26December 23 20102010-12-23March 02 20182018-03-02
