Outdoor crowd of devotees in white dhotis and kurtas with yellow waist sashes gathered near a golden canopied structure with a gilded roof and a red-and-gold embroidered banner with a floral border and a white bird emblem. In the centre, a bald man in white bows with hands folded, while a man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala stands beside him, hands joined in namaste. Several other men press their palms together around them, and some wear neck malas.

Outdoor photo at a shrine under large leafy trees beside a black stone deity murti draped in orange cloth and garlanded with yellow and red flowers. A bearded man in a full orange robe holds a brass bell in one hand and raises a small flame or lamp toward the murti. Beside him, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti with an orange shawl stands with hands folded. Around them, many people in white and cream clothes, some with yellow shawls, stand with palms pressed together in prayer. A yellow flower offering sits on a tray on a stone table in the foreground, and a red-painted stone base is at the lower left.

Outdoor temple courtyard with a stone wall of large cut blocks behind a group of devotees lined up behind red metal posts. A woman in an orange sari with a red border, her back to the camera, holds a brass bell and a small flame or oil lamp for an arati-style offering. Around her, participants in white clothes and red lanyards stand with palms pressed together, including a man in a black shirt holding a lamp, a man in a white shirt with a bag, an older man in a pale yellow shirt, and a woman in a white sari with a yellow border on the right. Bare feet and white garments mark the ritual setting.

Outdoor procession on a paved road in front of an unfinished concrete structure under an overcast sky. At centre, two men in saffron-orange robes carry a small golden-orange deity murti on a tray, decorated with a white flower garland, with a sheer orange cloth draped over it. A devotee in an orange head covering walks beside them. Around them, men in white dhotis and shirts hold folded hands in namaskar, some holding flower offerings. Orange flags are raised in the background, and a red, orange and blue decorated umbrella and a gilded ceremonial standard appear above. A man at right in white with a yellow shawl holds a brass vessel, and others stand by in white, with a sense of a pada yatra, a walking devotional procession.

A photograph of a temple courtyard with red-washed walls and a corrugated roof. In the centre, a man with long dark swept-back hair, a gold crown-style headband, gold necklaces and an orange saffron shawl stands with palms pressed together in prayer beside an orange cloth hanging from a carved stone pillar with lion-faced sculpture. Several people in white dhotis and white shawls with gold borders stand around, along with women in white and yellow saris with gold borders and a woman in a green sari. One man in white holds a lit oil lamp aarti plate. Smoke drifts in the air, and an ornate carved stone structure is visible on the left.

Outdoor photo at a temple-like site under bright morning light with palm trees behind. A bald man in white dhoti and a white upper cloth stands on bare ground, holding a bundle of orange cloth, facing a younger man in a saffron/orange dhoti and orange upper cloth wearing a white flower garland and a red-and-white garland, who extends his hands toward a stone deity murti with a multi-hooded serpent carved above it. A row of standing men in white dhotis and white shirts, some in blue checked shirts, press their palms together in namaskar and watch. Marigold and multicoloured flower garlands hang on the carved stone figure, and petals lie on the ground. Haze drifts through the air near a grey sculpture on the right.

Outdoor street procession in a village setting with concrete buildings and unfinished pillars behind. A figure in orange robes and an orange head covering is carried on a red platform or held aloft by two men in orange dhotis, with a white flower garland around the shoulders. Men in white dhotis and kurtas carry trays of offerings and flowers, and a man in a yellow shawl rings a handbell on the right. Men in white with folded hands stand along the left side. Orange flags with blue emblems and a multicoloured canopy umbrella are held overhead, and a decorated ornamental standard appears in the background. Overcast sky.

A photograph of an outdoor procession on dirt ground with trees and a cloudy sky behind. A long-haired man in orange saffron robes walks at the centre, hands pressed together in namaste, beneath a large ornate multicolored canopy umbrella with orange tassel fringe. Around him are many people in white and orange-saffron clothing, some with hands folded in prayer. A man in white with an orange shawl carries a metal kalasha pot with a green leaf on a tray of flowers. Devotees in white saris and kurtas line the path with palms pressed together, while a woman in a teal top stands at the left edge. The scene resembles a welcome procession with a canopy and kalasha.
