Photograph of a temple worship scene on a raised platform with a tiled wall. A person in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair and a gold necklace sits on a seat, holding a lit lamp (oil lamp or deepam) near ritual brass vessels. Behind them, large deity murtis are dressed with red, white and pink garlands and gold ornaments, one with an orange turban-like crown, and a tall decorated pole with yellow and multicoloured garlands stands above. A gilded throne-style backdrop frames the seated figure. In front, tiered trays of fruit including a pineapple, apples, oranges, bananas and sweets, plus cups of drinks, are arranged as prasad offering, with stainless steel serving carts on the left and a brass oil lamp on the right.2007-11-09November 09 20072007-11-09A stage event at a temple-style set with ornate gold and silver arches, a deity murti with a crown and a trident-like staff, and a seated goddess image with a red backdrop. Three men sit cross-legged at silver-footed low tables, each with a plate of orange marigold garlands. The man at centre, with long dark hair, a white-and-saffron top, a rudraksha-style mala and gold chains, speaks into a microphone on a stand. To his left a man in orange robes with a pearl necklace sits with hands joined; to his right a man in a deep red-orange turban and robe wears a heavy gold necklace and gold armbands. Behind them a seated man in orange robes gestures, and a young boy in white sits to the side.2015-09-12A photograph of a padapuja-style ritual in a gold-trimmed hall with a black stone wall and hanging brass lamps and bells. A man seated on an ornate golden throne with a lion-head armrest wears an orange-red dhoti and shawl, a rudraksha mala with tassels, a sandalwood tilak and an armlet; he has swept-back hair and is probable Swamiji. Three women and a man in white sit before him; one woman wears an orange blouse, another a green-and-red saree and a lanyard, and a man in white kneels near a silver tray of brass bowls, fruit, marigold garlands and flowers. A video camera on a tripod and an air conditioner are visible on the left.2015-02-01April 28 20152015-04-28A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with a long rudraksha mala draped over the shoulder and bare upper arms adorned with orange bangles performs ritual worship before a shrine. Behind him, a large deity murti is decorated with rich red and gold ornaments, white and pink garlands, and a gold-and-white dhoti-style garment. In front, a clear crystal spatika linga sits on a yellow cloth surrounded by white jasmine and red flowers, while a lit oil lamp stands at right. The figure's hands are held over the linga in an offering gesture, consistent with abhishekam. The figure's distinctive hair and orange ornamented attire are visible cues, and the page identifies this event as Rudrabishekam at a temple, so the figure is.2014-06-30September 11 20152015-09-11October 18 20102010-10-18 +1 copiesJanuary 08 20122012-01-08Photograph of a ceremonial stage at a temple-style setting with gilded arches and a silver-framed dais.
