Photograph of a temple shrine with gold-framed arches and red curtains. In the foreground a priest in orange saffron robes and a white face mask stands at left, his bare back to the camera, applying a mark to a murti or performing an offering, with white markings on his arms. Behind him is a large deity murti group on a raised dais: a seated figure in a red-and-maroon turban and pink garment holding a staff, beside a figure with a tall gold crown, and a bearded figure in a maroon turban wearing a yellow-and-white garland. Yellow and white marigold garlands drape the figures and a Shiva linga-shaped stone with a garland stands in front on a gold cloth. Brass oil lamps and a lit flame sit on the platform.

A photograph inside a temple shrine. In the foreground, a shaved-headed priest with long dreadlocks wears an orange dhoti and shawl, white sacred markings on his arms and body, and a rudraksha mala, raising a lit aarti lamp with one hand toward the altar. On the altar stands a central dark murti draped in a red and purple cloth with a crown, garlanded with yellow and orange marigolds, flanked by golden-robed and crowned deity figures and a bearded figure in red headwear with rudraksha necklaces. A red curtain and gold arch frame the scene. The priest is a physical person; the altar figures are statues.
