A large ornate golden throne with lion-like armrests sits centre stage, and a man in orange and saffron-coloured clothing with a saffron head wrap and a gold necklace sits on it, with a trident (trishul) leaning beside the throne. A small drum and speakers sit at the edges, and a standing fan is at the right. The man on the throne is a seated figure, appearance uncertain, and his identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone. The scene appears to be an empty-hall event set-up with a single seated figure.2014-07-23A seated figure in an orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions, hands pressed together in anjali at the chest. Behind the throne stands a large golden kalpataru (wish-fulfilling tree) with gilt leaves, flanked by woven mats in red and cream with floral arrangements on the walls. A raised platform with a gold-trimmed red dais, white pillars and stacked books sits in the foreground.2009-01-03August 26 20142014-08-26A figure in an orange saffron robe sits cross-legged with palms pressed together in namaste on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, set on an orange-draped dais over a dark purple-and-gold runner. Flanking the throne are tall brass oil lamps with bird-shaped tops, and beaded curtains with orange and dark chevron patterns hang behind. A video camera on a tripod stands to the right. The figure appears to be a statue or depiction on the throne, and no living people are visible in the scene.2011-02-27July 20 20142014-07-20August 26 20142014-08-26A seated figure in red robes and a red turban sits on an ornate golden throne decorated with flower garlands in yellow, white and multicolour, on a raised stage. A rudraksha-style bead necklace hangs on the chest, and a trident stands behind the throne. A golden palanquin-style cart with a deity murti draped in red and garlands sits to the left. Brass oil lamps stand in front, and the backdrop painted with blue and gold mountain peaks. The figure matches the a person appearance cues of an ornate throne, red saffron-toned robes, garlands and bead necklace; the throne and garlands are not themselves proof of identity.2010-12-22
