In the centre, a man in a saffron-orange dhoti and orange shawl stands facing a man in a white kurta and white dhoti, both barefoot, in conversation at the gateway. To the right, a woman in a white and cream sari with an orange border stands holding papers. On the left, women in salwar kameez and a sari, one with a long plait and maroon-and-cream shawl, stand beside white plastic chairs. Several men in white shirts and dhotis are gathered in the doorway behind. The page suggests a person event but the appearance cues are not distinctive enough to confirm who is present.2006-11-26 +1 copiesMarch 03 20092009-03-03Article - November 26 20062006-11-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a group walking barefoot across a pale concrete open-air courtyard past palm trees. In the foreground, a figure with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe and walks with a flat, relaxed stride. Behind him, a woman in a grey top with a striped multicoloured shawl and dark skirt walks barefoot, and several men in white shirts and white trousers follow, some with orange scarves. A woman in a teal top and maroon shawl and a man in a dark striped polo shirt stand at right near a blue metal frame. Props and a white wall are visible at the edge of the frame.May 14 20122012-05-14A photograph of a short concrete stairway landing beside a green-painted wall and a white-covered folding table with papers and a pen. On the left, a woman in a white sari with red-and-orange border and a beaded necklace stands with palms pressed together in greeting and a smile. Behind the table, a man in a white shirt and dark trousers also joins his palms in greeting. On the right, a figure in a saffron-orange robe with long dark swept-back hair wears a thick red and white flower garland and smiles, with one hand extended toward the railing. Another person in white is partly visible at the far right edge. Two people are clearly visible in the scene, with the figure in saffron as a possible candidate.2009-02-06
