Night photo of an outdoor public darshan session. Hundreds of seated audience members, mostly men in white shirts and dhotis with some women in saris, face a brightly lit stage at left under a decorated canopy with coloured bunting. On stage, several robed figures sit in front of a microphone, including one in saffron and orange clothing. Tall palm trees strung with fairy lights stand in the middle, and large floodlights glow above. Red chairs fill the rows, and white cloth barriers and banana leaves edge the front. Two candidates appear on stage, but the figure in orange is too small and distant to confirm, so the presence of the a person candidate is uncertain.

Many people in white, cream, green, orange and yellow saris and shirts, some with long braids and flowers in their hair. The stage has a blue canopy with a pair of raised hands and red banners with Tamil script, and a large backdrop screen showing a portrait of a man in white. Floodlights, strings of lights and a small banner on a pole light the scene. No figure on stage is clearly identifiable as a person, so the candidate is unsure.
