A red-draped raised platform stands in the water, with a large ornate gold-and-red decorated throne or palanquin-like structure behind it, where robed figures in orange and white sit. A black stone Nandi bull with yellow garland sits at the near edge of the tank. Men in saffron and white clothing sit along the steps, several with large brass vessels and pots.
