A large seated audience in a hall attends a session, viewed from behind. Most participants wear white or cream clothing with gold borders, and many wear rudraksha malas. Women have hair in buns, plaits and ponytails, some with hair clips. A small figure in a distant orange-toned outfit stands near the front stage, and a blue-and-white banner hangs at left above a red curtain. Water bottles and bags rest on the floor in front of the rows.2017-07-05 +1 copiesJuly 05 20172017-07-05Photograph from behind a large seated congregation inside a hall, mostly women in white and cream clothing with gold borders, some in orange and red. Many have hair in buns, braids or ponytails, and several wear red rudraksha-style necklaces. Some sit on chairs at the back right. A small wall board with text hangs at the top, and a gold stand appears at the left edge. At the front, a person in white sits near the centre, but the presenter's face and identity cannot be determined and no clear cues establish a person's presence in the scene.2017-07-05 +1 copiesA photograph from behind of a large seated audience in a hall, mostly women and girls in white clothes with gold or yellow borders, some with orange-red shawls. Many sit on floor mats and others on chairs, with long braided and loose hair visible. A projection screen stands at the front left, and a red curtain and small framed images hang on the walls. No speaker or a person candidate is visible, so the figure is absent from the frame.2017-07-05A large hall full of seated devotees in white and cream traditional clothing, many with long braided hair, facing a stage at the far end. A screen at upper left shows two figures in red and ornate dress. A small deity murti stands on a decorated altar near the stage, with a kalasha and brass lamps nearby, and several people in white stand at the stage edge. Visible lamps and bright floral cloths on the side tables suggest a satsang or puja gathering.2017-05-24Photograph of a large seated audience of women in white and cream saris with gold borders, many with long dark braids and gold bangles, sitting on the floor of a hall for a meditation programme. In the background, a figure in orange robes sits on a raised platform before an orange draped backdrop, and another woman in a yellow-gold sari sits beside a microphone stand. Garlands hang from the ceiling, and a few women wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. Many people sit on the floor in rows on striped red and white mats, mostly women in white dresses with gold borders and yellow-bordered white saris, several with long braided hair. Some wear yellow shawls. A speaker in an orange garment sits at the front left near a small table, and a video camera on a tripod faces the stage. A projection screen, red spotlights, hanging orange and multicoloured tassel decorations and a dark red curtain fill the background. Bags and a pink plate lie on the floor in front.2010-10-13A large seated congregation fills a hall at a satsang, with many women in plain white and cream clothes and others in saffron-orange garments sitting on red mats. Several women wear white blouses with white and cream saris, and some have sacred ash marks on their foreheads. Distant stage lights and a large screen show a performance area at the far end. Cameras and tripods stand at the side, and the mood is attentive and devotional.2016-03-07 +1 copiesJuly 05 20172017-07-05 +1 copiesNovember 24 20152015-11-24
