December 15 20162016-12-15A photograph of a bearded man with dark hair seated in front of a golden ornate backdrop, wearing an orange-brown shawl and a garland of pink lotus flowers with green leaves over a red-and-white strand. He sits with eyes closed, one hand pressed to his forehead, while a bare-chested older priest with grey hair and white sacred markings on his arm and an attendant in yellow cloth perform a ritual over a wooden table. The man's appearance (long swept hair, shawl, ceremonial gold-tipped garland) is consistent with the page's a person reference, but the cues are not decisive, so the identity is recorded as uncertain. Overall the scene suggests an abhishekam-style ritual blessing.2016-12-15February 14 20172017-02-14April 25 20172017-04-25March 03 20172017-03-03April 25 20172017-04-25May 10 20182018-05-10 +1 copiesFebruary 14 20172017-02-14A photograph of a bearded man with long dark hair seated with eyes closed, touching the fingers of his right hand to his forehead above a white vibhuti mark. He wears a long rust-orange shawl over bare shoulders and a garland of pink lotus flowers with white beads around his neck, and a red thread is tied on his wrist. A golden figure. No other people are visible. Swamiji (probable): the qualifying cues are the swept-back long hair, the orange shawl and the lotus garland.2016-12-15 +1 copiesA seated man with long dark hair, a full beard and a vertical tilak on his forehead wears an orange-brown shawl over a saffron garment and a long garland of pink lotus flowers with white beads. He holds a brass vessel and a bundle of green grass stalks, receiving a ritual offering from a second person whose arm is marked with white painted stripes and who wears a yellow and blue patterned cloth. Behind them is an ornate gold carved throne back and a leopard-print cushion. Swamiji (probable): the man's long hair, saffron-orange clothing and lotus garland with the seated throne setting are the qualifying cues.2016-12-15A bearded man with long dark hair, white vibhuti lines and a red kumkum bindu on his forehead, eyes closed and smiling, wears a pink lotus-petal garland with a brown rudraksha mala over a rust-brown robe. A young boy in a white shirt, seen from behind at left, reaches toward him with his arm. Behind them a gold-toned deity murti and gilded decorations fill the background. The man is a probable Swamiji candidate by appearance with his long hair, saffron-brown robe and rudraksha mala, receiving a devotee's gesture during a ritual setting.2017-02-14April 25 20172017-04-25
