A seated man in a red-maroon saffron-toned robe sits on an ornate gold throne with a large carved gold backrest and lion-like armrests. He wears a white forehead band and a red bindi, a white and red flower garland, and a dark rudraksha-style bead mala across the chest. His hands rest on the armrests of the throne. Behind him hang small brass oil lamps and bells, and two painted deity figures with raised hands stand on either side in a temple setting. The scene is a throne display in a temple-style hall.2014-06-06June 06 20142014-06-06May 27 20132013-05-27July 24 20132013-07-24July 14 20132013-07-14February 26 20132013-02-26July 14 20132013-07-14July 11 20132013-07-11A photograph of a seated man on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-head armrests and a tiger-striped cloth draped over the seat. He wears an orange-brown robe with a yellow-gold border, a red-and-white flower garland, a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, with a red tilak on his forehead. Gold hanging bells and oil lamps flank the throne, and carved figures stand on the side pillars. Two women and a few other people sit in the lower foreground. Probable Swamiji: long swept-back hair, ornate gold throne, saffron-orange robe and rudraksha mala.2013-06-17June 06 20142014-06-06Photo of a smiling person seated on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-head arms and a gold back panel, flanked by hanging brass lamps and painted deity figures with raised hands. The person wears a rust-orange wrap and a matching orange-red turban, with a multicoloured garland of pink, white and yellow flowers, a gold chain and rudraksha beads, and sits on a tiger-skin-draped cushion. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure's appearance is consistent with cues of an orange turban, orange ceremonial clothing, rudraksha mala and gold necklaces, seated in an honoured position.2013-07-11April 20 20142014-04-20
