Two shaved-headed priests in saffron-orange robes pour water from a silver vessel over a deity murti decorated with a gold crown, jewelled necklaces and garlands of yellow, orange and red flowers. The murti stands before a green draped backdrop and an ornate gold screen. A brass lamp and a flower-decorated kalasha sit on a pink-covered table in the foreground. The scene appears to be an abhishekam. Each priest's robe and orange shawl is visible, and the rightmost figure holds a small yellow card.2013-04-21April 21 20132013-04-21 +1 copiesApril 25 20182018-04-25 +1 copiesDecember 11 20112011-12-11April 21 20132013-04-21A photograph of a temple ritual inside a decorated shrine. Two priests in saffron-orange dhotis sit in the lower left foreground; the nearer one, bare-chested with a sacred thread, has his hands joined near his chest while a brass vessel and silver bowls sit before him. Behind them stands a deity murti of a goddess, adorned with layered gold and jewelled ornaments and a crown, framed by a large arch of red, yellow, purple and green flower garlands. A red cloth covers an altar table holding a green-draped kalasha. Gold pillars, a fringed canopy and purple lighting frame the scene.2013-04-21Photo of a ritual at a temple shrine decorated with marigold and multicolour flower garlands. Two gilded deity murtis stand behind, one wearing a red turban and layered gold necklaces, the other in red and gold dress with a tall crown. A golden bull, a gilded lamp and a small red-clad white statue sit at the base. In the foreground, a standing person in a long orange robe bends forward, one hand touching a silver-gold vessel, while a second person in a brown robe kneels at lower left, reaching toward a brass bowl. Brass pots and a kalasha are placed in front, consistent with abhishekam or puja. The person in orange has distinctive long, swept-back dark hair and orange robes, a person candidate, though the appearance is partly obscured by the bend and angle.2008-12-31January 04 20152015-01-04April 25 20182018-04-25 +1 copiesFebruary 19 20152015-02-19 +1 copiesJanuary 04 20152015-01-04July 25 20152015-07-25
