Behind him, a large floral-garlanded deity murti with a red and yellow flower arch, flanked by smaller garlanded statues in blue, yellow and maroon. He wears an orange wrap over one shoulder, a rudraksha mala with a bead necklace, and his hair is tied up in a bun. Beside the throne sits a gilded lion-shaped seat draped with floral garlands in red, white, yellow and purple, and a striped tiger-skin cushion. To the left are large white and gold deity murti figures with multiple arms and a clay Ganesha figure. At center, a seated figure in orange-brown robes with bare arms and hands pressed together in namaskar sits on an ornate golden throne. The figure appears to be a statue rather than a live person, given its waxlike finish. To the left, a large colourful deity murti of a multi-armed goddess stands beside a lion, and to the right a golden arch frames a seated deity murti draped in flower garlands. Brass oil lamps, brass kalasha-style vessels and a microphone sit on a white cloth in the foreground.2012-10-16
