A large nighttime outdoor crowd fills an open ground lit by bright floodlights on tall poles. Many people, mostly women in saris and salwar kameez in pink, red, green and blue, stand close together, some holding small paper sheets or sticks. Men in white shirts and dhotis stand among them. On the left, an ornate golden float or palanquin with decorated canopy is visible, and strings of lights and a festive arch stretch across the background under the night sky.

No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible in this crowd.
