Making Of Sacred Arts University

A row of carved grey stone figures seated in a line, shown in close focus with the foremost figure sharp in the right foreground. Each figure wears a tall tiered conical crown, a band across the forehead, and ornamented collars and armlets, and holds a round object or bowl in its lap. Blurred figures recede into the background. No living people are visible; the subjects are sculpted stone murtis lined up for display.

A night photograph of a row of dark grey stone female figures seated in a line, each wearing a tall crown and carved jewelry, with incised patterned garments. Small clay oil lamps burn in a row along the low platform in front of them, glowing orange against the wet stone. Bright floodlights and white pillars stand in the background under a dark sky.
