Several hold japa mala beads. Tall cylindrical banners with colourful geometric patterns and orange fringes hang from the ceiling along the sides. A woman in a red sari stands near the centre, and a standing figure in white is visible in the far background beside a small altar area. Framed papers and notices are pinned to the back wall. Some people sit in orange-cloth-draped seats at the right edge.2008-09-30October 07 20082008-10-07October 13 20072007-10-13A photograph of a large, plain hall with a corrugated metal roof, ceiling fans and fluorescent tubes, where a group of about thirty people sit in rows on mats and cloth on the floor for a chanting or study session. Most are dressed in white with orange shawls or orange and yellow garments. A man in the centre front, wearing orange robes and seated on a mat, appears to lead the group, with a microphone stand beside him. Several women sit in front with books or papers, and others stand near the side wall. A large orange cushion or seat sits at the right edge, and wall banners and framed photos line the back walls. A person in an orange robe stands in the background.2008-10-27A hall with a corrugated roof and cream partition panels decorated with leaf garlands and tall banners in blue, red and orange. Seated devotees on striped mats face a ritual at the front-left: a young man in white kneels beside brass plates of offerings and a metal pot, while a woman in white and orange sits nearby. Rows of seated men and women in white, saffron and orange clothes listen with hands folded in prayer, and a standing woman in orange stands at the left doorway. The scene reads as a group satsang or puja gathering, with a red-draped seat at right.2007-10-21A photo of a large tent-like hall with a white fabric ceiling and rows of ceiling fans, hung with decorative cloth banners featuring painted elephants. A seated teacher in orange robes sits on a striped mat at the left, with a small wooden stand in front and a water bottle nearby, addressing an audience. Dozens of women in white clothes sit on mats and orange cushions in rows facing him, some with orange shawls, and a few white plastic chairs stand at the back. A framed painting of a deity murti hangs on the rear wall, and a camera on a tripod is set up in the middle of the hall.September 30 20082008-09-30March 22 20082008-03-22September 30 20082008-09-30October 17 20102010-10-17
