A street procession moves along a dirt road lined with palm trees, with a water tank and a small building at left. Men in white dhotis and white shirts play drums and a wind instrument, including a man in a blue shirt and orange-red dhoti beating a drum and a man in white playing a horn. Behind them, devotees in white with yellow or orange sashes carry ornate red and gold umbrella-like canopies on poles. A decorated palanquin or ratha with a golden canopy and flower garlands is carried further back. The scene is a temple-style procession in an outdoor setting at dusk.2010-02-12December 20 20062006-12-20December 29 20082008-12-29December 29 20082008-12-29December 30 20082008-12-30December 25 20082008-12-25A procession of devotees walks along a dirt road lined with low white stone markers and patchy grass, with multi-storey pale buildings and a distant hill behind. Many people in white kurtas and dhotis, some women in cream saris, carry tall orange and red flags on poles. Several young men carry ornate decorated parasols with embroidered and fringed canopies in red, green, blue and white. A few men in orange robes with orange shawls walk near the front, and a few devotees wear white shirts with yellow or orange sashes. The scene suggests a padayatra, a walking pilgrimage in a group of devotees, though no a person figure is clearly identifiable in this view.2008-08-07January 13 20152015-01-13December 28 20082008-12-28 +1 copiesDecember 25 20072007-12-25December 28 20062006-12-28December 23 20092009-12-23
