2003 - Exclusive Portraits Collection2003-01-012003 - Exclusive Portraits Collection2003-01-01A seated person meditates in profile with eyes closed, on a pink cushion on bare ground beneath a large banyan tree with dense hanging aerial roots. The person wears a peach-orange shawl draped over one shoulder and wrapped around the body, with a dark rudraksha mala hanging to the lap, a red bindi on the forehead, and medium-length wavy dark hair. One hand rests on the knee in a mudra-like gesture. The warm, faded tones give the image a soft vintage look.2004-01-01A seated man in an orange saffron robe meditates with eyes closed on a small wooden seat over a mat, with a brass kalasha-like vessel at the front left. He wears a dark rudraksha mala, a red tilak on his forehead, and has long hair. Behind him stands a tall orange-red stone structure holding a black Nandi bull statue draped with flower garlands and marigolds. Palm trees, dark stone deity statues and small red signboards surround the open courtyard in sunlight. Swamiji (probable): long hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala, seated in meditation.2010-10-16A photograph of a long-haired figure in a flowing saffron-orange robe standing barefoot on a white-walled circular platform, leaning with one hand against the thick trunk of a large banyan tree with many aerial roots. A garland of yellow and purple flowers hangs on the trunk at left. Dry dirt ground and a white boundary wall are visible behind, with a small grey pole and a palm tree in the background. The figure has long dark hair and a thin gold necklace; the saffron robe and long hair are the appearance cues, and the page names Swamiji at this event but the face is not used. Swamiji (probable) in the sense of an appearance-based candidate with multiple cues: long swept hair, saffron clothing and a gold necklace.2010-02-12A person with long dark wavy hair sits in front of a large banyan tree with exposed aerial roots. Wearing an orange and red saffron garment draped over the shoulders and a rudraksha mala across the chest, they press palms together in anjali mudra with eyes closed and a red tilak on the forehead. A white cloth covers the seat behind them. The appearance is consistent with a person, shown by the long swept hair, saffron-red robes and rudraksha mala, seated in devotion beneath the banyan tree.2006-10-21March 13 20132013-03-13A man with swept-back dark hair sits cross-legged in meditation on a striped woven mat outdoors, eyes closed and hands clasped in his lap. He wears an orange saffron shawl draped over one shoulder and an orange wrap, with a long necklace of dark rudraksha beads and a red bindi on his forehead. Behind him stands an orange-painted stone structure, and a small bed of white ash lies on the ground. Another person in pale clothing is seen kneeling in the background.2010-09-08A man with long hair and a red bindi sits cross-legged on a low wooden seat on a mat, eyes closed, in meditation. He wears a saffron-orange robe and a dark rudraksha mala. Behind him is a large black stone Nandi bull with flower and marigold garlands on an orange-red pedestal. Stone guardian statues and a tall orange-and-red pillar stand among palm trees. A brass kalasha pot sits on the mat to his left. The setting is an outdoor temple grounds in sunlight, with small red signboards and dark stone figures in the background.2010-10-16A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on an orange cushion placed on a low wooden stand, eyes open and looking to the side with hands folded in his lap. Behind him a large black Nandi statue wears a garland of yellow and magenta flowers and a beaded necklace, resting on an orange pedestal. A brass kalasha-style vessel sits at the left edge beside a shallow earthen ring filled with ash-grey material, and a woven mat lies in the foreground. Palm trees and an orange-painted wall stand in the background, with one standing person in pale clothes visible at a distance. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron garments and a rudraksha mala, seated in a meditative posture.2011-02-25A barefoot figure in an orange-saffron wrap and sleeveless orange top with maroon borders stands with their back to the camera, leaning against the thick, buttress-rooted trunk of a large banyan tree. A red and white flower garland hangs over the shoulder, and a saffron headband is tied across the head over long dark hair. Dappled shade falls on the sandy ground, with more trees and open land behind.2007-12-25July 11 20102010-07-11
