A photograph of a queue of men in white shirts and white dhotis standing in a hall with a red curtain backdrop, facing a stage area. In the foreground, a woman in white clothing with an orange shawl kneels beside a figure lying on white bedding on the floor. A young girl in white with a light blue shawl stands nearby, and a woman in an orange-and-white sari is at the right edge. A man in yellow cloth stands at far left. A woman in an orange and red saree, wearing a white and red flower garland, stands in the centre with hands joined in front of her chest. To the left, a figure in an orange saffron shawl and white garland stands at a small table with a metal vessel, looking upward. A ceiling structure and white wall with a colourful panel are visible at the top right.

A photograph inside a plain white-walled hall where a row of women in white and cream saree with gold borders stand with palms pressed together in namaskar beside a long white-draped altar table. The table holds a tray of red flowers and offerings. A younger woman in a yellow kurta and yellow leggings, carrying a white plastic bag, stands barefoot near the doorway, and another woman in a red-and-gold outfit holds a small item. Behind them a brown double door opens onto a room with a strand of festoon decorations and green leaves. Potted palms flank the scene and a woman in a purple sari is partly visible at the right edge.

A photograph of a crowded indoor room with a low ceiling, ceiling fan and fluorescent light, where many people in white clothing gather closely. A woman in a white blouse and patterned sari stands at left, with a flower-adorned hairstyle visible in the foreground. Several women in white saris and men in white shirts and dhotis crowd together; one man wears a red-orange shawl draped over his shoulder. A woman at right holds a shimmering gold and maroon cloth. Shelves on the wall hold white boxes, and a framed picture hangs on the left wall. Hazy light suggests smoke or incense in the air.
