Outdoors on bare dry earth, a framed portrait stands on a magenta and gold brocade cloth with a scattering of red flower petals. The portrait shows a smiling man with long dark hair in an orange robe with a white-beaded mala, seated against a rock backdrop; the portrait is a printed depiction, not a physical person. In front of it lie yellow-handled power tools, including angle grinders and a Bosch drill, with black cables, while coiled black cable, woven baskets and a metal tray of cylindrical rods sit behind. A small stone bench and a metal sheet are nearby. No physical people are visible.2014-06-19An outdoor ritual setting before a rocky hillside. A man in a saffron/orange robe with long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala and a shawl stands centre-right, facing left, with his hands at his sides. Behind him a raised altar holds a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure with a garland, an ornate red-and-gold shrine arch, two small deity murtis (one with a red-clad figure and a green-clad figure), brass kalasha vessels, oil lamps, and flower garlands. Several people in white and saffron clothing attend the altar; one in white bends over a table at left near a mirror on a stand, another in saffron stands at right beside a tall brass oil-lamp stand. Trays of food offerings sit at lower left and on a blue cloth.2008-11-11April AF 2012A shaved-headed man in white clothes with an orange shawl kneels on bare earth, arranging offerings on a white cloth. The offerings include bananas, coconuts, a bowl of yellow marigolds, a brass lamp and red flowers. The scene suggests an outdoor puja at a construction site.2008-04-04A seated priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl sits cross-legged on a peach cloth before a fire-pit homa, with palms pressed together in prayer. He wears a beaded necklace and is bare-chested. Behind him a red velvet-cushioned golden chair holds a framed portrait of a man with long dark hair and an orange garment, garlanded with white flowers, marigolds and red blooms. Brass plates hold fruit, bundled sticks, a kalasha-style vessel, lamps and offerings; a flame burns at the fire-pit. Floral garlands decorate the shrine and the yellow-and-red banana-leaf setting.2013-01-01A young man in a white dhoti and yellow shawl kneels at an outdoor altar, adjusting pink flowers around a framed portrait of a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe and a white-and-gold bead mala, seated and raising one hand in blessing against a tree-trunk backdrop. The framed portrait sits on a bright orange cloth with orange marigold petals and a brass plate of gold-toned sandals or padukas. A banana plant, potted shrubs and a small water bottle surround the altar on dirt ground, with signboards visible behind. Another person in white stands at the left edge.2009-09-25 +1 copiesOutdoor puja under an open pavilion with palm trees behind. Offerings in front include marigold and red flower garlands, brass plates of fruit, bananas, pineapples, and a pot of yellow and orange flowers, with a square stone fire pit at right.
