In the centre, a man in a sleeveless saffron-orange garment wears a long garland of red and white flowers and carries a small brass tray. Behind him, a man in orange robes holds a silver plate, and another orange-clad figure walks beside him. On the left, a man in white dhoti with a yellow shawl holds a long pole supporting a red and gold umbrella, and a drummer in a blue shirt plays a drum on the right. Other devotees in white and orange clothing crowd the steps behind, and a trident-topped banner is visible at the upper left.2010-01-02 +1 copiesOutdoor photo of a procession on red-and-white checkered stone steps under an overcast sky. A man in a flowing saffron-orange robe walks down the center of the steps, barefoot, with hands held together before him. Behind him, two attendants in white clothes with yellow shawls carry tall poles topped with ornate, colourful ceremonial umbrellas or banners. Along the steps and at the right, a crowd of people in white and mixed colours stand with palms pressed together in greeting. A portable spotlight on a stand is at the left, and a woman in white with a yellow sash is in the foreground at left, seen from behind. The saffron-robed man has short dark hair and no visible crown, turban or mala, so his identity is uncertain.2009-07-08October 17 20102010-10-17January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesDecember 12 20162016-12-12July 16 20112011-07-16October 17 20102010-10-17Outdoor procession on red stone steps under a pale sky. A central figure in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair and a red and white flower garland stands between attendants, one holding a red and gold ceremonial umbrella. Another attendant holds a brass kalasha-style vessel. Surrounding men wear white dhotis and yellow shawls, several with coloured powder on their faces, and children and onlookers watch from the right. A second umbrella appears in the background. The central figure has distinctive long swept hair, orange ornate robes and a gold necklace, so this is a person appearance.2010-10-17A procession ascends wide stone steps beneath a large multicolored canopy with fringed tassels on a tall pole. Several people in saffron-orange dhotis and wraps carry the canopy and walk in a line; a figure at center has long dark hair and a bare torso, another wears a striped headband and a kumkum mark, and a man in an orange turban carries a bag. Drummers in orange robes play a large drum at upper left, and a child in orange holds a white flower. Seated spectators in white clothes line the steps and terrace behind. A stone pedestal and square stone benches with striped cloths sit at right, and a man in white runs down the steps at upper right.2018-01-01
