Two parallel lines of women in white saris with red and maroon borders stand holding metal pots topped with green leaves, a traditional kalasha-style offering. A row of men in white shirts and white dhotis stands along the right, one wearing a pink rosette badge. A red and green bunting strung overhead, and a small portrait banner with a bearded figure is visible in the distance down the road, with tall trees and a wooden lookout structure on the left. The women's sari colours and the pots are the central focus, with the road stretching into the distance.2006-11-13January 21 20102010-01-21Outdoor procession on a dusty ground lined with saffron-orange flags on tall poles and strings of festive bunting. A long red carpet runs down the centre. Women in white and cream sarees with coloured borders stand along both sides holding small flowers or offerings. Further down the path, people in white and orange clothing walk behind decorated umbrella-style canopies in orange and red, and a few men in white shirts and trousers are visible. Modern buildings and trees fill the background under a pale sky.2007-02-06
