The figure wears a red-orange turban with a tilak mark on the forehead, a red-orange shawl draped over the shoulders, and a long white pearl-and-bead necklace with red and gold medallions. Brass oil lamps glow in the lower left, and a partially visible person in white clothing sits at the left edge. This is a statue, not a living person, so it is not counted as a physical person.2022-05-17A photograph of a dimly lit temple interior filled with smoke or incense haze. In the right foreground stands a dark-complexioned figure wrapped in a red-orange turban and a red-orange cloth draped over the body, wearing a long white beaded necklace with large ornate gold and red-stone pendants. Beside it at lower left stands a small brass oil lamp with a flame, and a second figure in white head covering appears blurred in the background among gold-toned architectural ornament. The figure appears to be a statue or deity murti rather than a living person.2022-05-17Close side view of a dark stone statue of a sage-like figure wearing a red turban with black and gold patterned border, a red shawl draped over the shoulders, and a heavy gold beaded necklace over a silver-toned ornate chest plate. Garlands of yellow, magenta, purple and white flowers with green leaves frame the figure on both sides, with a red mark on the forehead. The statue is the central subject against a dark background; it is a statue, not a living person.2008-01-01March 21 20152015-03-21March 20 20152015-03-20 +1 copiesJuly 25 20132013-07-25Jan 14 2022 sripuram2022-01-14Jan 14 2022 sripuram2022-01-13March 18 20152015-03-18A dark stone deity murti is seated in a shrine niche, adorned with a silver crown and halo, a red and gold silk garment, a silver ornamental necklace with a central medallion, and layered garlands of white jasmine, yellow marigold and red roses. A gold arched backdrop frames the figure, with a silver cloth behind it and green leaf garlands draped along the sides. Two brass oil lamps with bird-shaped handles flank the shrine, and a small brass vessel with offerings sits at the base. The shrine walls are polished dark red granite beside a carved wooden door. No people are visible.2022-01-14Close-up of a dark grey-black stone or metal murti face wearing an orange-red headcloth with a gold-bordered scalloped edge and a small red tilak mark on the forehead.
