Many men and women in orange and saffron dhotis and sarees with gold borders stand and sit on colourful striped mats, their bodies marked with white ash bands on the chest and arms, and wearing rudraksha and bead necklaces. Several participants hold yellow food offerings and rice in their hands, and brass plates of offerings sit on mats in front. Several men and boys hold small handfuls of food, some raising it to their mouths, while others stand bare-chested with white ash markings on their skin and wooden or rudraksha beaded necklaces. On the far right, a woman in an orange wrap stands with her back to the camera. Behind them a large screen shows a smiling figure in a red and orange setting. The scene suggests a prasad or annadan style ritual of shared food within an ashram hall. Several people are visible, roughly six to twenty.
