Four young men in saffron-orange robes perform drumming in a bare, pale-walled hall on a glossy floor. The nearest drummer, seated in front, strikes a large drum with a stick and wears a white forehead band; behind him another drummer plays a second drum, and a third youth beside him holds a drumstick and a long pink-and-white cloth is draped over another drum. Rudraksha malas hang around their necks and white ash marks their arms. Brass lamps, flower petals and a small oil lamp sit on the floor in front. No candidate for a person is visible in this image.2013-05-04Several young male devotees in saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas sit cross-legged on the floor playing percussion.
