A busy town street photographed from road level, with a striped concrete median divider running down the centre. On the left, a woman in a blue sari sits on the back of a motorcycle beside a man in a white shirt and dhoti, both moving toward the camera with motion blur. Parked motorcycles line the left pavement in front of shops and a multi-storey building. Further down the road, more two-wheelers, a yellow bus and pedestrians appear, while a small white car is parked on the right beside a shop with a red-and-yellow sign. Overhead utility poles and wires cross a hazy sky, and a blue Tamil-script sign hangs on the right-hand shopfront.

A wide, largely empty paved road runs straight toward the horizon under a partly cloudy sky, with a white-and-grey striped concrete median curb on the left. Two-storey buildings with shopfronts line the left side, and a small roadside building with a painted signboard, parked motorcycles and a white car stands on the right. A tall palm tree and overhead electrical wires cross the scene, and a few pedestrians and scooters are visible in the distance.

A photograph taken from inside a vehicle on a hazy urban road with a wide bridge-like causeway lined with cream railings. A white bus with a blue stripe travels away from the camera in the centre lane, and a motorcyclist rides ahead. On the left, a small temple with a white domed spire and a red-tiled shop front sits beside roadside hoardings. On the right, a multi-storey white building with flat roofs and street lamps lines the road, with a palm tree and overhead cables. Pedestrians are visible at the right edge near the railing.

A wide roadside photograph of a procession walking along the side of a multi-lane road in daylight. Many people in white clothes walk in a long line on the pavement, several carrying orange and saffron flags, with a red banner visible near the middle. Vehicles travel on the road: motorcycles, a yellow-bodied van, white trucks and a red-and-white lorry. Beside the road stand a pink multi-storey building with shuttered shops, roadside stalls and palm trees. Individual figures are too small and distant to identify, and no candidate is distinguishable, so a person's presence is uncertain.

A roadside photograph of a busy highway with a traffic jam. A man in a maroon shirt and blue jeans, carrying a dark bag, walks along the grassy median strip between lanes. A line of cars, a white van, a grey hatchback and a dark SUV queue beside a red and white Karnataka State bus, with a blue bus and a yellow vehicle behind. Tall coconut palms line the road under a pale sky. No a person candidate is visible in this scene.

A busy street in a South Indian town with a wide paved road running through the centre. Pedestrians walk across the road, including a man in a white dhoti and a woman in a green sari. Several black motorcycles are parked on the right beside a row of shops, and yellow auto-rickshaws sit on the left. A white minibus stands in the middle distance. Tall trees line the left side, and utility poles with overhead wires run along the road. A large billboard on the right shows portraits of men, though the figures are too small to judge clearly. Power lines and a low hill appear in the distance under an overcast sky.

A paved highway photographed from behind a vehicle, with lane markings running into the distance under a cloudy sky. A covered grey truck with a tarpaulin load travels ahead in the left lane, followed by a white SUV and a red-and-white striped bus with a roof rack and rear ladder. A lattice telecom tower stands beside the road amid green roadside scrub and trees, with a guardrail on the right. No people are visible.
