A bearded priest with bare chest, orange dhoti, red beaded mala and gold necklace holds a silver plate with a lit camphor flame toward the image. Seated at right, a person in a maroon garment with a multicolour flower garland and a flower in the hair has hands raised in a devotional gesture, a sandalwood mark on the forehead. On the left, a bare-chested priest in a maroon dhoti with a white flower garland holds a flaming lamp in his right hand and waves it toward the viewer while a fire burns in a brass dish of flowers at his feet. Beside him, a younger man in saffron-orange cloth with a rudraksha mala stands with palms pressed together in namaskar. Behind them is a gilded ornate throne with a tiger-skin cushion, a brass oil lamp stands nearby, and to the right a deity murti is heavily decorated with a yellow, white and red flower garland and a crown. A mountain backdrop is painted on the wall. The priest's dhoti and garland differ from the saffron-clad devotee's clothing.2017-06-10A temple shrine lit by a fluorescent tube, where a priest in a rust-orange dhoti with gold border and a gold-beaded headband stands at left, holding a flaming wick or camphor flame toward an oil lamp on a brass stand. Behind him a deity murti is framed by an arched garland of orange, red and white flowers, with a gold ornamental backdrop and a gold necklace. A second person in orange and gold silk, partly visible at right, holds another burning flame. Below, offerings sit on a stone platform: a brass bowl, a coconut, flower petals and a banana leaf. This appears to be an aarti or puja scene.2012-06-05 +1 copiesApril 14 20182018-04-14January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesA priest in an orange dhoti with red and rudraksha malas stands at left holding a silver aarti plate with a burning oil lamp toward a silver deity murti adorned with yellow and red garlands. Behind the lamp, a seated golden deity murti in a red garment and crown, with a garland of yellow, orange and purple flowers, is framed by a large floral arch. Brass oil lamps and a kalasha-like gold object sit on the altar in front. A second saffron-clad seated figure with a garland is at lower left, and a man in white stands at the far left edge.
