September 30 20172017-09-30Outdoor scene at an ashram courtyard with a red-framed open shelter and palm trees behind. A bare-chested man in a rust-brown robe stands at centre, bowed with his head down while a long orange-and-yellow marigold garland is placed around his neck, and a second garland of pink flowers rests over his arm. Behind him, a white sedan is parked. On the left, a shirtless attendant in orange dhoti and rudraksha mala holds a tall ceremonial umbrella with red and colourful fringe. Several men in orange clothes with orange turbans stand in the background, and a woman in a white sari kneels at lower left with a flower offering. The distinctive rust-brown robe with garlands and crowd of saffron-clad attendants suggests a ceremonial reception; the honoured figure's identity is not established from appearance alone.2017-09-30A man with long dark hair, a rust-brown saffron-toned wrap and heavy gold necklaces and rudraksha-style beads stands beside a white car, placing his hand on a large tray of red and white flowers. Beside him, a young man in an orange turban and orange wrap holds a green and gold decorated bundle with a flower-filled vessel on top, while a man with white sacred ash marks and a beaded mala stands behind. Several people in orange turbans are visible in the background near a covered walkway, with palm trees above. The scene suggests a padapuja or welcome ceremony, with Swamiji (probable) appearing as the man in the centre-right wearing the heavy gold necklaces and long swept-back hair.2017-09-02July 01 20142014-07-01August 17 20142014-08-17Outdoor photo of a welcoming procession under a white arched canopy with banana leaves. A bald man in saffron-orange robes with a white forehead band walks at centre, a face-cover-free figure with an ash-marked forehead. Behind him a woman in a garland of white and red flowers and a multicoloured sari stands beside men in saffron and dark red shawls, some with rudraksha malas and white vertical tilak marks. Women in red and orange saris and beaded necklaces stand at left. A man in a white shirt holds a gold-bordered shawl at right, and a figure in orange kneels at lower right. Parked cars and a tiled building are behind the crowd.2014-07-02 +1 copiesOctober 19 20172017-10-19A procession outdoors on a dirt path in front of a parked silver SUV and a brick wall. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair and a white tilak wears an orange robe, layered gold necklaces and a long white-and-green flower garland, smiling and raising one hand; the figure is consistent with the Swamiji (probable) appearance cues of long hair, saffron clothing and ceremonial gold necklaces. Flanking him, shaved-headed men in orange dhotis with gold necklaces carry a silver kalasha decorated with red flower garlands and mango leaves, and one holds a tall wooden staff. On the left, a man in white dhoti and shawl holds a wooden staff, and on the right a man in white shirt and dhoti holds a silver staff topped with a bird finial. The scene resembles a ritual procession with a kalasha.2011-12-11June 26 20142014-06-26July 04 20142014-07-04 +1 copiesOutdoor arrival scene beside a silver SUV with its rear door open, palm trees and a red brick wall behind.
