A night photograph of a floating temple-car shrine on water, decorated with dense garlands of marigolds and multicoloured flowers in yellow, white, pink, purple and green. Inside the shrine stands a deity murti adorned with flower garlands, set in an ornate golden arch. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts wade waist-deep in the water pushing or steadying the float, one wearing a white shirt with a lanyard. Behind them a wall is lined with rows of clay pots and lit by glowing oil-lamp shaped neon signs. Lamps and reflections shimmer on the water. A copyright line appears in the lower right corner.

Night photograph of a floating ceremonial boat on dark water being pulled by three men wading waist-deep in white clothes. The raft is draped with a white cloth and crowned with a large arch of colourful flower garlands in red, yellow, white and green, with a blue canopy top. A woman in a red and gold sari sits at the back of the raft holding a lit lamp. A drum edge is visible at the right. Temple steps and a railing are faintly visible in the background.

A night-time photograph of a flower-decorated boat procession on a temple tank. A tall flower-covered canopy in yellow, green, pink, purple and white rises over a deity murti seated in an alcove, adorned with garlands. Four men in white dhotis and shirts stand in the water beside and at the front of the boat, some holding it or the canopy, some with hands together in reverence. Strings of lights and oil lamp motifs decorate the stone wall behind, with rows of terracotta pots and stone lingams along the steps. The boat bears a blue banner with partially visible text.

Night photograph of a floating ritual raft (ratha) on water, decorated with dense garlands of yellow, white, pink and orange flowers in arched canopy patterns. At centre sits a silver-framed throne holding a metal deity murti adorned with garlands and a large necklace, draped in red cloth. Several men in white dhotis and white shirts sit or kneel at the raft's edges, one bare-chested in white dhoti with a sacred thread and tilak, seated at left near the base. A blue cloth banner at the front reads a name in Tamil-style script. Tiered stone steps and lit strings of lights form the background.

Night photograph of a floating shrine on dark water. An arched canopy of yellow, orange and red flower garlands surrounds a figure seated on a red-draped platform, with a bright white lamp-lit deity murti behind. Four men in white dhotis and a bare-chested man in a red-orange cloth stand waist-deep in the water, hands on the raft, pulling it. Reflections of red light shimmer on the surface, and dark tiered seating rises in the background. This appears to be a water procession or ritual on a temple tank.

Night photograph of a floral-decorated float or small temple structure in a dark water tank, with a deity murti seated inside a tiered canopy draped in yellow and green garlands. Several people wade waist-deep in the water around the float, some pushing or steadying it, and one figure at the left side holds a light. Behind is a tiered wall of small lamps or pots lining the tank steps, with string lights along the right edge. Other people's appearance cannot be confirmed; no visible candidate is clearly identifiable.

Night photograph of a deity murti seated under a floral canopy on a raised platform floating in a water tank. The ornate shrine is covered in marigolds and garlands in yellow, orange, purple and white, topped by a tiered flower dome. The murti wears a gold-and-white crown and a garland, and a kalasha-like flower arch frames it. Around the float, several men in white dhotis and bare upper bodies stand waist-deep in the water, some holding the platform and others with hands folded. Behind them, tiers of terracotta pots line the stepped tank wall, lit by small lamps. A banner at the front bears printed text.
