Seated on the throne is a framed portrait of a smiling man in an orange turban and orange robe, labelled "PARAMAHAMSA NITHYANANDA" on the frame. Two tall painted statues flank the shrine, each with a golden crown, gold jewellery and orange and green draped garments, holding ceremonial items. Hanging bells and lamps hang above, and the shrine appears to be a devotional display rather than a living person in the scene.
